Win a ski trip to Vail, CO or an introduction to Obama's former CTO!

Who We Are
Our mission is to improve education by equipping teachers with professional development and resources to bring creativity and the arts into daily classroom instruction so students succeed academically, socially & artistically. This is how children learn best as local administrators across the state understand and retain us to help build the capacity of their teachers.

This is a public-private partnership with all our teacher training and resources co-developed and delivered by four primary collaborators: Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, Emory University Dept. of Theater Studies, Georgia State University School of Music, and the Savannah College of Art & Design, ATL.

What’s this Opportunity all about?
The turbulent financial times are taking their toll on our organization. We could use your help to make it work – and thought this would be a win win for you too! There are two opportunities:

The first 50 people to send us a check for $2500 by October 30, 2009 (to help us keep the arts in the schools) will have their names put in a drawing for two roundtrip airline tickets and use of a 4 bedroom house in Vail, Colorado for one week (7 days) during the 2009/2010 ski season at a time to be mutually agreed to by owner and winner. (Value: the house rents for $1495 per night, so total retail value is over $12,000!!!)

The first 10 people who raise a total of $10,000 from among their friends by October 30, 2009 will be invited to an exclusive reception in January (in Atlanta) to meet Mike Slaby, the former Chief Technology Officer for Obama's campaign and transition who is personally involved in our work! Mike currently is advisor to both the White House and the CEO of Google, and is Chief Technology Strategist for Tomorrow Ventures.

Suggestions for success:
-To GET the $2500: think about getting 25 friends to donate $100 each
-To GET the $10,000: Think of it as 20 people at $500 or 10 friends at $1000
-Perhaps host a party to raise funds – and have fun at the same time?
-Make a donation in the name of someone else – or as a group, honor their love of the arts!
