Myrna Moore, Community Affairs Director and Host of TBS STORYline commissioned nine students from Adamsville Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Where I'd Like To Go In The World,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on April 27, 2005 to a recipient of the Turner Pathfinder award. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $250 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Adamsville Elementary School.

Mark Hennessy, President of Hennessy Buckhead commissioned twenty students from Adamsville Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Driven For Success,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on February 9, 2007 to the Hennessy Land Rover Buckhead team. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $500 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Adamsville Elementary School. An additional $500 was gifted to the students from Mark Hennessy for their exceptional work!!

"How I Can Recycle My Coke Products"

Diane Waugh, Community Relations and Business Development Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises commissioned nine students from Adamsville Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “How I Can Recycle My Coke Products,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on February 19, 2008 to the executives of Coca-Cola Enterprises. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $250 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Adamsville Elementary School.
