Chris Eames, Senior Vice President of TNT Sports commissioned sixteen students from Gresham Park Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Truth Be Told: What I Would Tell My Favorite NBA Player,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students will deliver their artwork on March 5, 2004 to the executives of TNT Sports. Each student will make a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

These paintings are a part of an initiative called "A Community in Action: Making the Arts a Priority in Children's Lives." The artworks will be exhibited on the E-Concollrse at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport from April 1st – June 30, 2004. In addition, Mayor Shirley Franklin unveiled these paintings in a citywide celebration of the student artists, corporate sponsors and the ArtsNow work in Atlanta schools on April 20, 2004.
