John Rice, President and CEO of GE Energy commissioned sixteen students from R. N. Fickett Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “The Power In Me,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on February 27, 2004 to the executives of GE Energy. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $400 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at R. N. Fickett Elementary School.

"Reading Ignites My Imagination"

Fickett Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Reading Ignites My Imagination,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on November 15, 2005 to the executives of GE Energy. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $500 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at R. N. Fickett Elementary School.

Finally, the students delivered their artwork on February 27, 2007 to the executives of Goddard Investment Group. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $250 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at R. N. Fickett Elementary School.

Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.
