Presentation November 15, 2005 GE Energy 4200 Wildwood Parkway
John Rice, President and CEO of GE Energy commissioned twenty students from Thomasville Heights Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Reading Ignites My Imagination,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on November 15, 2005 to the executives of GE Energy. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.
Through this project the students returned $500 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Thomasville Heights Elementary School.

Jonathon Katz, General Manager of Peachtree TV commissioned twenty students from Thomasvill Heights Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Things You See in Atlanta: Atlanta Landmarks,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students will deliver their artwork on May 16, 2008 to the executives of Peachtree TV. Each student will make a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.
Through this project the students will return $500 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Thomasville Heights Elementary School.
